Between the Shadow and the Soul is meticulous collection of poems on life, love and loss. Life is a maze, actually. Love and loss are intertwined. When love is important, loss is always present there.
This collection of poems delves into the tangled threads of love, life and loss altogether. The verses are raw, lyrical and they deeply resonate with the reader. Each poem is meticulously written and is full of emotion.
Poetry is said to be a story told in less words, and this book is a great example of the same. I am in awe of the author to highlight the delicate topics so beautifully. The illustrations are beautiful and enhance the beauty of not only the book, but the poems too.
All the poems in the three sections are heart-touching, resonating with the reality and gives a discreet view of how life looks like. All three of them intertwine together to weave the life we live. And with our own thoughts and deeds, we can make this life a better place.
